We are Eric and original founders of this chaotic, beautiful, faith-filled life. We’ve been married for twenty years, and together, we’re raising four incredible kids: Bailey (18), Kayson (16), Brody (15), and Barrett (11).

Neither of us grew up around foster care or adoption. Our path here started years ago after the loss of our first pregnancy to a miscarriage—a painful season that quietly opened our hearts to adoption, even when we had no idea what that would actually look like. Years later, when our biological son Brody was five, we knew our family wasn’t complete, but we also knew pregnancy wasn't the way forward.

So, we took a leap of faith into the foster care system.

Fast forward to today: we’ve opened our home to many foster children and completed three adoptions through CPS. Along the way, we’ve experienced it all—stories that break your heart, stories that bring complete joy, and moments that can only be described as God-given miracles.

Our foster care journey is far from over. We don't know exactly what the future holds, but we know the need for loving foster and adoptive families is far too great to walk away now.

Why this blog? We created this space to be real. No sugarcoating, no perfection—just honest life.
